The over/under for Arizona Cardinals’ wins in 2011 is 6.5

The over/under for Arizona Cardinals’ wins in 2011 is 6.5.  The Cardinals were 5-11 last year, despite having pathetic play at QB all season long.  I think with Kevin Kolb under center, the Cardinals’ offense is going to be revived big time.  The schedule isn’t incredibly tough this year either.  When everything is taken into consideration, I see the Cardinals winning 8-10 games during the regular season in 2011, so bet the over.

The over/under on Arizona Cardinals’ wins in 2010 is 7.5

The Cardinals were 10-6 last season as they won the NFC West.  But that was then and this is now.  Gone is Kurt Warner who has been replaced at QB by Derek Anderson.  Early Doucet is the Cardinals’ #3 WR with Steve Breaston moving into the starting lineup to replace Anquan Boldin.  The Cardinals do have a schedule that promises success as long as they can get decent QB play but I don’t think they will.  I would bet on the under if forced to make a call on the Cardinals in 2010.  They are currently 55-1 to win the Super Bowl but I think you should look elsewhere for a longshot.

The over/under for Arizona Cardinals wins in 2008 is 7.5

I think this number is a tad low for the Cardinals because of the fact that head coach Ken Whisenhunt picked the right QB to start.  If Leinart was the starting QB I would have suggested the under but Kurt Warner is a winner and he’s healthy now.  This could be the year that the Cardinals finally make the playoffs so bet the over win confidence.

I think the Cardinals are going to be a better football team than they were last season but it won’t show up in their record.  The Cardinals offensive and defensive lines are sub-par and that will negate the fact that they have Matt Leinart, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Edgerrin James at the skill positions.  They also have had serious injury problems in the pre-season with OLB Chike Okeafor and RT Oliver Ross suffering season ending injuries.
