The Cardinals couldn’t believe that their dreams came true when running back Chris Wells fell to them in the first round.  Wells is 6’1″, 235 pounds and he runs a 4.55 40, but, he plays faster when defensive players are chasing him.  Wells is a good pass blocker and receiver despite not getting many passes thrown to him in college.  Wells played in 36 games (22 starts) in his three year career at Ohio State and he carried the ball 585 times for 3,382 yards (5.8 ypc) with 30 TD runs.  He also caught 15 passes for 84 yards (5.6 avg) at Ohio State.  Look for Wells to be the main man in the running game for the Cardinals as long as he can stay healthy which has been a problem for him in the past.
