The Cardinals needed to replace Bryant Johnson as the #3 WR and they were glad to see Early Doucet of LSU fall to the third round.  Doucet stands at 5’11″, 200 pounds but he’s a tad on the slower side as he runs a 4.56 40.  But, Doucet is a good downfield blocker in the running game, has good hands and the courage to go over the middle.  Doucet played in 47 games (23 starts) for LSU and he caught 160 passes for 1,943 yards (12.1 avg) with 20 TD grabs.  Many experts projected Doucet to go in the first round of the draft so the Cardinals likely made a great pick here.
