The Arizona Cardinals drafted for need in the first round with the selection of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.  He will battle Roderick Hood in training camp for the starting left corner job.  He is 6’1″, 183 pounds so he’s a tad soft against the running game.  He also isn’t the fastest player in the NFL as he runs a 4.51 40.  Cromartie played in 44 games (all starts) at Tennessee State and he made 158 tackles, broke up 36 passes, had 10 interceptions and recovered 4 fumbles.  This was a very risky pick taking a soft player from such a small school.
