The Cardinals lost a game they should have won here. Neil Rackers missed a 55-yard field goal as time expired to finish the Cardinals off in this game. Kurt Warner proved to be a warrior as he played with a torn up left elbow and he completed 27 of 41 passes for 282 yards with 2 TD passes and 2 interceptions. Tim Rattay came in at the end of the game and he completed his only pass attempt for a 1-yard TD. Edgerrin James didn’t find a lot of running room against the Redskins D as he carried the ball 27 times for 83 yards (3.1 ypc). J.J. Arrington only carried the ball 1 time for 2 yards but he caught 4 passes for 47 yards (11.8 avg). Larry Fitzgerald had a solid game with 6 grabs for 97 yards (16.2 avg). TE Leonard Pope had one of his better games of the season with 3 catches for 35 yards and a TD. Anquan Boldin was busy as he caught 8 passes for 29 yards (3.6 avg) with 2 TD grabs. The Cardinals finished up with 84 yards rushing on 30 carries (2.8 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 42 passes for 280 yards.
Linebacker Calvin Pace led an inspired effort by the Cardinals defense with 10 tackles, a sack and a interception. The Cardinals held the Redskins to 73 yards rushing on 28 carries (2.6 ypc) and they completed 12 of 18 passes for 87 yards.
