Cards hold on against the Lions 17-10

The Cardinals improved to 2-8 on the season as they finally played a good all-around football game.

Matt Leinart was sharp against the Lions as he completed 19 of 29 passes for 233 yards and a TD.  He also had a 9-yard TD run.  Edgerrin James had a solid game with 22 carries for 96 yards (4.4 ypc).  Anquan Boldin led the receiving corps with 5 catches for 87 yards.  Bryant Johnson also had a good game with 4 catches for 47 yards and a TD.

The defense played a solid game and was led by Bertrand Berry who had 3 tackles and 2 sacks.  The Cards held the Lons to 68 yards rushing on 20 carries (3.4 ypc).  The Lions completed 23 of 38 passes for 213 net yards passing.

This was a good win for the Cardinals who really needed it.  The win snapped an 8 game losing streak!
