Arizona Cardinals vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions are coming off of a tough loss against the 49ers at home. The Cardinals have lost 8 games in a row, the last three of which the Cardinals have been out-scored 80-33!
Look for the Lions to attack the Cardinals through the air. Jon Kitna (2,376 yards passing) should have no trouble having success against a Cardinals defense that allows 229.2 net yards passing per game. The Cards really have no pass rush, so the Lions should have time to get the ball deep to Roy Williams (49 rec, 800 yards) and short to Mike Furrey (43 rec, 516 yards). The Lions won’t forget to unleash Kevin Jones (628 yards rushing, 367 yards rec.) against the Cards safeties and linebackers.  The Cards also have problems stopping the run, as they allow 124.6 yards rushing per game and 4.1 yards per carry.
The Cardinals would be smart to run the football against the Lions. The Lions allow 127.8 yards rushing per game and 4.2 yards per carry, so Edgerrin James (584 yards rushing) could have a big game and help keep the Lions offense off the field. That being said, the Cardinals will let Matt Leinart (1,115 yards passing) attack the Lions defense (214.9 net yards allowed passing per game) with his great WRs. Anquan Boldin (661 yards rec.) and Larry Fitzgerald (416 yards rec) could be in line for huge games against the Lions.
This should be a fun game to watch with alot of scoring. Whichever QB protects the ball better will win this football game.
