Warner hands old team 16-14 victory

The Cards had alot of chances to win this football game, but Kurt Warner couldn’t get it done.  Warner completed 19 of 28 passes for 256 yards with 1 TD and 3 INT.  RB Edgerrin James carried the ball 24 times for 94 yards and a TD.  Anquan Boldin caught 10 passes for 129 yards, Larry Fitzgerald caught 6 passes for 65 yards and a TD.  WR Bryant Johnson caught 1 pass and it was for 54 yards.

Back-up LB Gerald Hayes had 10 tackles.  The Cards played good run defense holding the Rams to 63 yards rushing and 2.3 yards per carry.  The Rams shredded the Cards secondary, completing 67.7% of their passes for 301 net yards thru the air.
