Cards fail to show up for game Saturday and get punished 30-3
The Cardinals didn’t have any bright points Saturday. The Cards had only 151 yards of total offense, while the Patriots rolled up 486 total yards.Â
Kurt Warner completed 6 of 9 passes for 58 yards, but he threw a pick. Matt Leinart got his first NFL action and completed only 4 of 11 passes for 45 yards, he had a couple of nice scrambles (2) for 29 yards. The leading receiver was Troy Walters who caught 4 passes for 28 yards.
It’s hard to win when you only have the ball for 17:44 on offense. The Cards were lucky to score, as it was a pitiful game on offense, defense and special teams. The Cards have alot to work on after they watch this game film.
